EDR Classroom Training Course Registration Procedures
Registration is required to attend a scheduled EDR Classroom training course.
There are two easy ways to register for EDR classroom training:
- Knowledge Center: EDR classroom-course registration is available online for registered users of the Commonwealth's Knowledge Center. If you have questions about registering with the Knowledge Center, see EDR's Online Training Page.
- Go to https://covkc.virginia.gov
- Type in the username and password you chose when you registered with the Knowledge Center
- Click on the "Learning Center"
- Click on "Course Information & Enrollment"
- Type in the keyword ("EDR") and click on "Search"
- Click on the Course you are interested in attending
- Select the Section you wish to attend by date/time and "Enroll"
- EDR Registration Form: Complete the registration form found at http://www.edr.virginia.gov/training_registration.htm and click "Submit". This form may also be printed (Word or PDF) and completed manually and submitted to EDR by fax or mail. Contact information can be found at the bottom of the form. Please complete a separate registration form for each person and course.
Confirmation of Registrations
EDR classroom course confirmations will be sent to the registrant via e-mail, or if e-mail is not available, by fax.
Payment
Unless otherwise noted in the course description, there is no charge to attend EDR classroom training. When applicable, course fees or the necessary IAT payment information must be received at the time of registration.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
EDR reserves the right to cancel scheduled courses due to low registration. An attempt will be made to contact you via the information provided on your registration form if a course is cancelled or full.
You may cancel your registration for a course, but your written cancellation (e-mail: training@edr.virginia.gov, fax, or mail) must be received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled course to receive a refund or credit toward another course, if applicable.
Failure to cancel two weeks in advance or to show for a course will result in the full fee being charged.
